The future of legal application is digital
Identify, evaluate and implement legislative changes
They are part of everyday life in government agencies, public institutions, and compliance departments – and at the same time, they pose one of the greatest challenges: Legal changes must be continuously monitored, reviewed for relevance, and correctly implemented. The effort involved is enormous: texts are often unstructured or only available in physical form, and the manual comparison of old and new versions of the law is laborious, time-consuming, and carries a high risk of errors.
With LexAI we provide a solution – intelligent, automated and reliable.
Your challenge
Flood of laws? We bring structure.
Even though legislative changes are routine, they cost time, stress, and tie up valuable resources. In daily practice, the right tools to quickly identify, correctly classify, and reliably implement relevant changes are often lacking. This is precisely where LexAI comes in: We transform this complex monitoring process into a smart, digital process.
Time consuming
Manual research, comparison and evaluation cost valuable resources – and often lead to delays.
Missing relevance filters
Not every change affects you—but which ones do? Without automated assessment, important details easily go undetected.
Confusing changes
Editorial, formal or substantive adjustments are often difficult to distinguish – especially when there is no comparison between old and new versions of the law.
Automatically detect changes in the law

LexAI automates the recording and analysis of legal changes – so you can work faster and more securely. Our AI-based platform automatically detects new legal texts, assesses their relevance individually for your work area and presents changes in a clear comparison of the old and new versions. Important adjustments are visually highlightedso you can immediately see what really matters. LexAI reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, and enables efficient implementation of legislative changesThanks to its modular architecture, LexAI can be flexibly adapted to your needs – whether in government agencies, compliance teams, or other organizations.

Think digitally
Smart monitoring and implementation of legislative changes
Objective
LexAI was developed to fundamentally simplify the complex process of dealing with legal changes. The goal is to identify relevant changes more quickly, automatically assess their significance for the respective department, and significantly reduce implementation effort.
Implementation
To achieve this, LexAI relies on an intelligent, AI-based workflow: Legal texts are automatically imported from official sources, analyzed, and presented in direct comparison with the previous version. The AI not only recognizes differences in wording but also understands the legal context—and can thus distinguish between editorial and content-relevant changes. Important passages are visually highlighted, allowing users to see at a glance what really matters.
Result
Less manual research, more clarity, and significantly greater implementation reliability. LexAI can be flexibly integrated into existing workflows – whether as a comprehensive platform or as a targeted tool for individual work steps.

Our expertise
In the Smart Quality Lab, we have systematically gained experience in the development of complex database architectures and intelligent analysis platforms as part of applied research, as shown by the example of DataCharge.ioWe transform raw and multimodal data into structured, high-quality data sets using AI-powered pipelines. This enables us to create robust, scalable systems that sustainably advance process efficiency and data-driven automation.

Laura Bies leads as a lab Leads the Smart Quality Lab and brings with him extensive experience in building complex database and analysis systems. In numerous research projects – for example AkuMonit, AWaCER, KIreDe and ProDiNA – She implements AI-supported solutions into productive applications and is responsible for data and sensor ecosystems that convert heterogeneous data sources such as image, audio, and sensor data into scalable databases via modular pipelines. Her interdisciplinary work creates robust, data-driven approaches that significantly increase process efficiency and reliability.

Our success model
We offer Best in class in the scientific and talent-centric incubation.
The teams work on the current and future challenges of the company during the program. This not only strengthens the entrepreneurial potential of each individual, but also the innovative power of the company for long-term corporate success.
Part of our work is documented in the current Intrapreneurship Monitor. Almost 500 companies from Germany were surveyed in 2023 about how they set up intrapreneurship activities in their company and what obstacles and challenges had to be overcome. A particular focus was placed on the ICT industry. Together with the University of Bayreuth we show how successful intrapreneurship programs have to be designed.
